Our Road Trip to International Falls, MN

*Sorry for the delay in posting - it seems to be a trend this summer for me to post things late. Hopefully that will improve. *

Last weekend, Greatsie, Tyler, Sophie, and I traveled to I Falls to visit Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Frank (Jon was in Florida for work).

Friday was mostly spent traveling. We stopped a few times to stretch our legs, and to get lunch, and arrived in the Falls around 3:45. We had dinner with Grandma Wendy and the kids went to bed early.

Saturday after breakfast we went to play at McDonald's playplace. The kids enjoyed having space to run and the adults enjoyed conversation and watching the kids. Then we did some shopping, and returned to Grandma's for lunch. During lunch Grandpa returned home from scout camp and the kids were super excited to see him. The afternoon was spent napping, playing outside, visiting Bama (Jon's grandma), and then going out for a pizza dinner. Also, Grandpa and Tyler went fishing and had some great "guy" time.

Sunday we got packed up, watched the chipmunk (Chippy) eat sunflower seed from the window, and made one last stop to see Bama before heading home. Our return trip was extra long thanks to traffic, but we made it home safely.
