5 Years!

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love dies not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

5 years ago today, Jon and I said, "I do"!

It was a beautiful (and hot) June day. We were surrounded by family and friends as we vowed our love and faithfullness. It is hard to believe that it has already been 5 years, and that it has only been 5 years.

Much has changed during our time together (moving, two children, two puppies, career changes, and a college graduation). Luckily, our relationship has changed too. It has gotten stronger and we have been fortunate enough to grow and change together. I am so blessed to have Jon. He has been my rock.

Jonathan, thank you for these first five years. I love you more and more each day. Here is to many, many more wonderful years of growing old together!

Oh, and Happy 56th Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa. We are honored to share this day with you. You have been outstanding models of what it means to truly love and cherish, in sickness and in health.
