Pieces of Paper

In the age of email and texting, there aren't many papers that seem to be very important. However, there are a few that I hold in high regard. Papers that are special because of the amount of work that they require (or required) include our marriage license, the children's birth certificates, my college degree, and now my letter of tenure. Oh, how I cherish these pieces of paper.
