Friday night (6/26/09) the kids and I enjoyed the Jamboree Parade. It's a tradition for me and my family to watch the parade from Greatsie's house, and this year we continued. There were familiar faces, and new faces, both of which made for great parade watching company.
We also took a quick jaunt to the carnival. It was pretty small (and slightly gross), but the kids enjoyed a few rides, thanks to Grandma.
Saturday night, Jon, the kids, and I drove back to Greatsie's to watch the fireworks spectaular. This was Sophie's first time seeing them (I was so excited just watching her face) and it was great to make memories and start another tradition.
