7 days and counting

I only have seven days left of school with students (and one in service day). It still amazes me how quickly this past year has gone.

Each of the students that I had this year have been wonderful, each in his/her own way. It was incredible to see what talents each one possessed as the year moved along. Overall they were polite, friendly, and a joy to be around. I can honestly say that I wanted to be with them each day - and I will miss then in my class next year. Truly, I was blessed to have such a unique and caring bunch for my first year.

Tonight I spent time finishing the slide show that I want to give each child as an end of the year gift. Tomorrow one of the tech. guys has said that he will help me put it to music and burn a copy in ivideo so I can copy it to DVDs (not all of my students have computers at home, let alone PowerPoint). Hopefully the students will enjoy it.
