January: I started student teaching at an elementary school, Jon continued work at both jobs, and Tyler was a growing 26 month old.
Tyler taking a bath...the only picture from January that I could find on my camera.
February: I had many first experiences student teaching (teaching a poetry unit and having a Valentine's party - just to name a couple). I also finished my elementary experience and started my middle school placement. I taught 8th grade Geography. It was awesome - I was able to develop a unit on Russia (a place that I have traveled to when I was in 8th grade). Jon's second job came in extremely handy (atleast the discount) when it came to purchasing a fabulous Valentine's present - he got me a new digital camera. I love it!!
My elementary class (3WA). They were a great group to teach!
March: My grandpa turned 73. I continued my middle school student teaching (with my ever growing tummy), Jon stayed busy with both jobs, and Tyler just stayed busy! :-)
Great Grandpa on his birthday with Tyler and Grandma Sue.
April: My grandma turned 74 and we had an Easter celebration with the whole family (some Kleins, the Hansens, and the Edwards). I finished student teaching on April 13. It was a great day, but the real work was still to come (finding a job). And, Jon went to Chicago for HU (Hamburger University), which is the final training class for store managers. He was gone for a whole week to the corporate training campus and he really enjoyed himself (training is something that Jon would love to do in the future). At HU he made the Dean's List (it is actually an accreditated course with a final exam) and won the Golden Hat Leadership Award (this is voted on by classmates, so it was very exciting). Jon was the first member of Choate & CO. to accomplish winning both awards. Tyler and I were (and are) so proud of him, but we were very excited to have him home.

May: Sophie Jean Edwards was born on May 8, 2007 at 5:10pm! She weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. and was 22.5 inches long. She has been such a blessed addition to our family. Other May events included my mom (Grandma Sue) turning 50 and my graduation from the College of St. Catherine's.
Big brother, Tyler, and new little sister, Sophie (Sophie was less than 2 hours old).
June: Sophie was baptized. My cousin, Jason, and "sister" Lauren, were named godparents. I took my Praxis II exam (and passed all three on the first try - yea!). We had a party to celebrate many accomplishments in the family. And, wrapping out the month, Jon and I celebrated 4 years of marriage.

July: Tyler was 32 months and Sophie was 2 months. Cousin Beth visited from Maine and it was nice to spend time with her. Jon was in a wedding and I was offered my first teaching position (all in the same weekend). I also started teaching, since it is a year round school. At the end of the month, we were able to spend time with the whole Edwards' family as Kristen was in town for a visit.

August: The whole family was busy. I was teaching, Jon was still busy with both jobs, and the kids enjoyed being with friends at daycare. Grandpa Mick also turned 70.

September: I turned 26! We celebrated the day at the MN State Fair (minus Sophie - she spent the day with Greatsie). Jon suprised me and joined us. We had fun watching Tyler on the rides and going on some too. Grandma Wendy had a birthday too. And, Sophie got her first two teeth (on September 15 to be exact).
October: Hmm...family week (which I already blogged about). We also enjoyed Halloween with a dragon and an elephant. Oh, and I almost forgot...Callie had six puppies! She spent from mid October to mid December living with her OB (Grandpa Mick).

November: Our Tiny Man turned 3!! Sophie got two more teeth - she now looks like a vampire.

December: Jon turned 29! Grandpa Frank had a birthday too. I finished the first half, of my first year, teaching. Sophie started crawling! We celebrated Christmas and enjoyed making memories as a family. Oh, and we had another addition to our family - Violet, the puppy.
